MARGAO: Some articles of black magic were found within the premises of Margao municipality on Tuesday.
The staff and onlookers were surprised to see black magic articles in the municipal building. Coconut with turmeric and kumkum, lemon poked with pins and chillies were found on the ground floor of the building.
MMC officials have been informed regarding the incident and since it is a superstitious act no one bothered to give it much attention. However, it has become an issue of hot discussion in MMC.
The MMC workers when came for work in the morning on Tuesday found something wrapped in a green cloth. The security opened the same and found all these articles which also included a black doll.
Presently the issue of departmental promotions and extension of chief officer is much in news and the employees have now started relating the same to these developments.
An employee told that such articles were found in the MMC on earlier occasions too.
