BICHOLIM: Bicholim Municipal Council (BMC) authorities on Thursday removed the illegal vegetable vendors who were selling vegetables on the roadside having access to BMC market.
The action was initiated by the BMC officials following a complaint from Bicholim Bachao Abhiyan (BBA) General Secretary Naresh Kadkade and others with the BMC authorities.
BMC Chief Officer Vivek Naik said during the lockdown period nobody is allowed to sell anything by seating on the roadside as every essential item is home delivered.
