MARGAO: An unidentified person, aged between 40 to 45 years, was found dead by the side of a railway track near Cuncolim with multiple injuries on his body.

Konkan Railway police said the station master of Balli informed them that an unknown body was lying near Cuncolim. Police, upon receiving this information, rushed to the spot and found the body of an unidentified male lying by the side of railway track, wearing multi-colored half sleeves collared T-shirt, white full paint. He is of wheatish complexion and medium built. Police team conducted a scene of an unnatural death occurrence panchanama.
Police said that no documents were found to establish his identity. The body is preserved at the South Goa District Hospital morgue. Railway police are investigating the case.
