BICHOLIM: Bicholim police on Sunday evening recovered the body of one Murad Ansari (26), a native of Uttar Pradesh, lying along the roadside near Nagnath Devasthan, Nanoda-Mulgao bypass road.
According to Bicholim police, Ansari, who was working as a carpenter with B Interior unit in Bicholim, had left the work place in the afternoon and was supposed to go to a doctor as he was feeling ill. Later, he was found lying dead by locals along the roadside who later intimated the police.
Police said he must have been knocked down by an unknown vehicle. Police have sent the body to GMC hospital at Bambolim.
