ALDONA: The body of a 43-year-old male was found floating in a river at Corjuem on Sunday morning.
The body has been identified as that of Babu Kolapte, a resident of Podwal in Corjuem and a native of Dandeli, Karnataka.
The police at Aldona outpost informed that the post-mortem was conducted at Goa Medical College, Bambolim which made it evident that the cause of death was drowning. Later, the body was handed over to the family members, who have taken it to their native place for final rites. Kolapte was mentally unsound and was missing since August 14.
