Panjim: The deceased individual discovered near a roadside nullah along the Khorlim, Verla-Canca bypass road has been identified as Rakesh Kumar, a 30-year-old resident of Khorlim with roots in Uttar Pradesh. Authorities have scheduled a post-mortem examination for today (Tuesday) to ascertain the cause of death.
The somber discovery occurred on Sunday evening when the lifeless body of the unidentified man, believed to be around 40 years old, was found near the nullah. The Mapusa police promptly responded to the situation, conducting a panchnama of the scene and launching further investigations to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident.
