MARGAO: The Margao Police on Friday morning found the body of a man, believed to be around 35 years old, in a well at Comba, Margao.
On receiving the information, the police called the fire services personnel, and the body was fished out of the well.
Police sources said it is not known how the man fell into the well or whether he committed suicide using a rope. The investigation is in progress.
Margao Fire Station Officer Gil Souza said that the body was retrieved from a 45-foot deep well at Comba, and that it was sent to the South Goa District Hospital, Margao for preservation.
