PONDA: The body of the 25-year-old Swagarthah Basu from Pune, who was washed away while crossing a nullah on the way to Doodhsagar falls, was found floating in Doodhsagar river on Tuesday at 1.30 pm. The body was recovered by Collem police.
The girl had come for trekking in Goa with a group of 13 friends at Sonvalim in Collem by Nizzamduddin Express train. When the group was trying to cross a flooded nullah Swagarthah was washed away by the flood.
