BICHOLIM: The Bicholim police recovered the body of an unknown woman from the canal of Anjunem dam situated at Kulan, Sanquelim on Friday.
Police said that the fact came to light after some locals spotted a body floating in the canal water. The body is of a woman in the age group of 30-35 years, with thin physic. Bicholim PI Sanjay Dalvi said that no missing complaint has been registered either in Bicholim or Valpoi, so far.
Presently, the body is preserved at Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim.
