CANACONA: A Karnataka registered Bolero pickup while returning after delivering tomatoes at the vegetables whole sale market veered off the NH66 road at Khaddem between Balli and Canacona, luckily the driver and cleaner escaped with minor bruises.
The ill-fated Bolero pickup landed in a gorge about 10 mts deep from the level of the road on Monday evening.
Enquiries revealed that both the driver and cleaner visited Hospicio hospital Margao for minor injuries before being discharged.
