PONDA: With heavy rain the Borim bridge has been riddled with many potholes, posing a risk to four and two wheeler riders. The potholes are surfaced on bridge since past few days.
Meanwhile, on Friday, the contractor’s labours were seen busy in repairing the road with rubble. The supervisor said this is temporary measures to prevent accidents.
He said it is difficult to repair the road with concrete or tar now as it is raining heavily.
“We are waiting for dry spell and soon the potholes on road would be repaired considering safety of commuters,” the supervisor said.
