MARGAO: The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Traffic, South Goa on Thursday said in view of the ISL finals and Margao Shigmo parade falling on Saturday, the department has made elaborate traffic and parking arrangements for both.
The floats parade, starting 4pm onwards, will take the route from Holy Spirit Church, Margao – Hospicio Hospital – Old Collectorate building -Communidade building and will conclude at Margao Municipal Council Square.
“The ISL finals will commence from 7.30 pm onwards. The traffic diversion will be effective from 1pm onwards and shall remain in force till the match is over,” a press note from the DySP Traffic stated. The police have appealed all the motorists and general public to take the alternate routes.
