British boy rescued from drowning

An eight-year-old boy from England was rescued from drowning by Drishti Special Response Service (DSRS) lifeguards at Bogmalo Beach on Monday evening.
According to Drishti reports, Fion, who was residing with his parents at Bogmalo Beach Resort, had ventured into the rough sea despite a warning from the lifeguards.
Fion, who was swimming in the sea, was warned by duty lifeguard Hanumanta Pawar, but the boy did not pay any heed.
The boy was closely monitored by the beach Captain Yammanappa Madar from the tower. Suddenly, the lifeguard observed that the boy was in distress and was drifting into the deep sea.
Captain Madar immediately conveyed a message to lifeguard Hanumanta, who rushed towards the victim with the rescue tube and brought him safely ashore.
