Brother on anti-depressant pills

Conrad Torrado, brother of the deceased Nadia Torrado is put on anti-depressant pills in the Institute of Psychiatric and Human Behaviour at Bambolim.
In his early 20s, Conrad was admitted to IPHB Friday evening when he showed suicidal tendencies by jumping off a building. Maria Mascarenhas, a family friend told Herald that Conrad was repeatedly asking for his mother (Sonia).
“I am with him 48 hours… He is not showing any signs of improvement. How can we get his mother when she is in lock-up,” she said.
Sonia is in seven-day police custody following her arrest on Thursday for her alleged involvement in her daughter’s death. She is booked for culpable homicide not amounting to murder, destroying evidence and other sections of Indian Penal Code.
IPHB Director Dr V N Jindal was not available for comments.
