PONDA: A 20-year-old girl who was riding a scooter and her minor brother who was riding pillion had a miraculous escape after their scooter collided with a truck and a motorcycle, Monday morning, on the Nanus-Usgao to Ponda road. While the scooter was badly damaged, luckily the girl received minor injuries, while boy escaped unhurt.
It is learnt that the girl and her brother were travelling towards Ponda from Usgao. The girl lost control of her vehicle while trying to overtake the truck and dashed against an oncoming motorcycle. Even though her scooter was badly damaged, both the girl and minor boy had a lucky escape.
