PALOLEM: The office and residential quarters of BSNL at Palolem are in a neglected state, said former Canacona chairperson Suchana Gaonkar. There were more than 40 employees working at the main office at Palolem and others, for whom these quarters were built. The Palolem building houses six quarters, the main office, customer care center, accounts department and billing department have all fallen silent due to lack of workers here. BSNL customers here are sent their bills on time but there is no facility available to accept those bills at this office, and no technicians to repair phones.
