BSNL Telephone Advisory Committee addresses public service issues

MARGAO: Service issues faced by the public were raised at BSNL’s Telephone Advisory Committee (TAC) meeting held on Wednesday.

While speaking to the media after the meeting, South Goa MP Fransisco Sardinha said the major complaints highlighted during the meeting were related to connectivity issues. He attributed these issues to the snapping of copper cables, during digging of roads for electric work. He added that the problem should be resolved soon as they are shifting to a fiber cable system. Complaints of network issues were also raised, and this problem was attributed to insufficient towers.

The MP added that another meeting has been scheduled for December-end or January to check on the compliance of this meeting and address other non-resolved issues too.
