Budget session starts July 22

PANJIM: The Budget session of the Goa Assembly is scheduled to begin on July 22 and will be on till August 21, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar revealed Wednesday.

PANJIM: The Budget session of the Goa Assembly is scheduled to begin on July 22 and will be on till August 21, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar revealed Wednesday.
Giving details, Parrikar said that there will be three days of general discussions, 15 days for demands and three Fridays for private member bills and a total of 21 working days.
The chief minister also specifically pointed out that July 29 will be a holiday due to Id, as declared in the Goa government calendar.
Janmashtami and Rakshabandhan fall on Sunday. 
“We have taken into consideration what is given in the calendar,” he said.
