CANACONA: Dhirios must have been banned by Supreme Court order, but two he buffaloes unaware of this order caught up in a fight for supremacy pushing one buffalo in to an open well at Karvem near Gaondogrem, Canacona.
On receiving a call from one Sonu Velip owner of the ill-fated buffalo saying that his buffalo has fallen into the well, the fire department of Canacona rushed to spot with a fire tender. However, since the well was over 12 meters deep their equipments and manpower was insufficient to lift the over 700-kg buffalo up.
