BULL ATTACK: Tourists will stop coming, warn shack operators

MARGAO: Following the goring of a British woman on Benaulim beach on Thursday,  Shack Owners Welfare Society (GSOW) president Cruz Cardozo, said, “A British national called me today regarding this incident and asked what is going on in Goa. He said, if you walk on the beach, a bull attacks you; if you walk on the road, a car knocks you down and kills you. That person is a regular visitor to Goa, but he now doesn’t feel like coming to Goa after hearing about this. Why are they allowing these bulls in the first place on the beach?”

Cardozo added that tourism here is already on the decline and called for the police and Tourism Department to be alert and prevent such mishaps.
