PONDA: In a fatal accident at Connem, Priol, bullet rider Parijath Gopinath Pauskar (38), a resident of Adan-Marcaim, died on the spot, at around 1.45 am on Saturday night.
According to Ponda police, Pauskar was returning home from Mardol and on reaching Connem-Priol he collided with an oncoming i20 car. He suffered grievous head injuries and died on the spot.
Ponda police conducted panchanama of the accident scene, sent the body for autopsy at Goa Medical College and Hospital and later handed over the body to relatives for final rites.
Pauskar was an electricity department employee at Vasco.
