Burglary foiled

MARGAO, MAY 9 
 An abortive bid was made to burgle antique violins and musical items such as guitars and organs at Madel on Saturday afternoon.
Madel residents suspected the hand of a gang of thieves for using a minor boy to enter the house of a maestro this afternoon.
Savio Dias informed that the minor boy made his entry into the house of the maestro through the window when the inmates were out.
The plan however, failed as the boy was nabbed by the locals. He is believed to have had kept a violin on the been, which locals say was the intention to lift away with the help of his gang. The police later took the boy to the police station for investigations.
