MARGAO: A bus plying on Margao-Ponda route on Monday fell off the road and landed into field after the steering wheel axle broke but fortunately nobody was injured.
The incident happened near Anushka Restaurant, at Ambora, were the bus landed into the field, which is nearly four metres below from the road surface. All the 32 passengers were rescued by the locals, wherein four who had minor injuries were taken to Hospicio Hospital, Margao, where they were discharged after first aid.
Maina Curtorim Police have registered a complaint against the driver.
