City businessman Gaurish Dhond has said that though the Smart City works are crucial they should be completed in a time-bound manner. At the same time, a vigil should be maintained about their quality. The entrances of some business establishments have been closed resulting in a 50% drop in customers. However, the works have to be completed fast. God forbid if there is an emergency and an ambulance or fire brigade is needed. However in the long run there will be good roads and drainage, Dhond said.
