By March 2023, underground cabling work to begin in Vasco

VASCO: In an announcement that spells relief for residents of the Port Town, Power Minister Ramakrishna Dhavalikar assured that the work on underground cabling in Vasco would begin by March 2023.  

“Thanks to efforts taken by the Chief Minister, Goa will be the first State in the country to be self-sufficient in all its power supply needs,” said Dhavalikar, adding that Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar has been constantly following up with him, regarding the underground power cabling in Vasco, which is plagued by power outages, especially during the monsoon. “This work will be taken as a priority and work will begin by March 2023,” said Dhavalikar. Salkar expressed happiness that the infrastructure in his constituency was developing, for the people’s benefit.
