MARGAO: The by-election to ward IV of the Orlim village panchayat and ward I of the village panchayat of Rachol in Salcete taluka will be held on March 25.
This was announced by the State Election Commission (SEC).
The SEC also stated that the nomination papers of the candidates will be accepted by the returning officer, the mamlatdar of Salcete from March 6 to March 14 from 10 am to 1 pm, except on March 7, which is a public holiday and March 12, which is a Sunday.
