PORVORIM: The State Cabinet on Wednesday approved the cancellation of Tender No. 05(18-19)/CSC –Work of 50MVA Transformer and Associated work for 220KV receiving station at Ponda, 220/33/11KV GIS Sub-Station at Tuem and 220KV double circuit transmission line from Power Grid Colvale Sub-Station to Tuem-Goa.
The Cabinet also approved the cancellation of Tender No.08(18-19)/CSC – Work of Survey, Design, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 3x50MVA 220/33KV GIS Sub-Station at Saligao along with associated interconnecting 220KV D/C line from 400/220KV Colvale Sub-Station to Saligao Sub-Station.
Also the Cabinet approved the cancellation of Tender-29(18-19)/CSC – Survey, Design, Engineering, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 220/33KV Verna GIS Sub-Station and 110KV AIS interconnection at Verna along with 220KV D/C Transmission lines from Verna Sub-Station to 220/33KV Cuncolim Sub-Station and 220KV D/C Transmission lines from Kadamba Sub-Station to Verna Sub-Station.
The State Cabinet resolved to grant ex-post facto approval for expenditure incurred on the preparation of Raw Sheets and Bills by M/s Inet Computer Services for payment of Milk Incentive to the Dairy Farmers under Scheme for Incentives to Milk Producers and Revised Scheme for Incentives to Milk Producers for the financial years 2015-16, 2016-17 2017-18 and 2018-19 and to extend the services of M/s Inet Computer Services for the above work for the financial year 2019-2020 at the quoted rate of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three lakhs only) excluding 18% GST, as per Rule 7(2) under Chapter III of the Rules of Business of the Government of Goa 1991.
The Council of Ministers also resolved to rename the nomenclature of “Department of Environment” appearing at serial number (7) of the Business of the Government of Goa (Allocation) Rules, 1987 to “Department of Environment and Climate Change” and to amend the Business of the Government of Goa (Allocation) Rules, 1987 as per the draft Notification annexed hereto, duly vetted by Law Department.
Further, the Council of Ministers resolved to approve the necessary amendment and include “Agriculture education, research and related activities” to the mandate of the Department of Agriculture in the Business of the Government of Goa (Allocation) Rules, 1987.
Cabinet also approved to procure 21,180 sq. mts of the land of villages Varconda and Chandel in Pernem Taluka for Mopa Airport Project as per the Policy on Procurement of land under Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
The Council of Ministers resolved to approve transfer/exchange of land admeasuring 28.75m2 which is in possession of Government from survey no. 1/1 of Village Betalbatim of Salcete Taluka to Joao Fernandes alias John Fernandes for re-orientation of his structure in exchange of 28.75 m2 area from survey No. 1/2 belonging to Mr. Joao Fernandes alias John Fernandes to be utilised by the Government for the widening of the road.
The Council of Ministers resolved to accord approval for the proposal submitted by Entertainment Society of Goa for acceptance of the offer of M/s INOX Leisure Ltd. for the work of “Selection of Operator for Renovation/Refurbishment and Operation of Multiplex at ESG Complex, Campal, Panaji-Goa” subject to the final the decision of the High Court of Bombay at Goa.
