PANJIM: Rajya Sabha MP and BJP State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade said that the party will support any decision taken by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant with regards to cabinet reshuffle as it is his prerogative.
“The decision about inducting and ousting ministers is the prerogative of the Chief Minister. The general public perception is after Lok Sabha elections, there could be cabinet reshuffle and the CM will definitely inform the party if he takes any such decision. However, we will wholeheartedly support it as a party,” Tanavde said.
Recently, Goa Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar had said that he was ready to take up any responsibility the party allocates him.
It may be noted that on June 17, artistes and writers had demanded resignation of Art and Culture Minister Govind Gaude alleging that sub-standard work was carried out during the repair of Kala Academy building.
