Cabral was speaking during a door-to-door campaign in support of Fernandes at Avedem-Paroda on Thursday.
Speaking to media persons, Cabral said the BJP government has undertaken various developmental activities in panchayats of Xeldem, Assolda and Avedem and people are with the BJP. “People will vote and elect our candidate, as people have seen our work in the area,” Cabral said.
Avedem Sarpanch Shanti Mascarenhas, Deputy Sarpanch Krishna Gauns Dessai, Panch Laximi Raikar, ex-sarpanch Diledsh Kalekar, BJP executive member Venkatesh Prabhu Dessai and Tony Fernandes were accompanying the candidate for canvassing.
