A complaint was received from the Talathi of Anjuna Village Panchayat informing that on Jan 4, late at night around 10:30 pm loud music was played in Cafe La Musica, which is located at Vagator. The SDPO Mapusa registered an FIR against the management of the café for playing loud music beyond 10 pm. Anjuna Panchayat’s talathi filed a complaint on January 4 stating that a café was playing loud music late at night at 10:30. The police seized the electronic musical instruments and the speakers used.
Based on the report, an FIR was filed at Anjuna police station under section 15 of the Environment Protection Act. Further investigation is in progress with SDPO Mapusa under the supervision of SP North Nidhin Valsan IPS.
