VASCO: Online registrations of residential and other government documents are reportedly being printed from cyber cafes and typing centres and delivered at an exorbitant price to the beneficiaries. Former councillor Dhanpal Swami alleged that the government authorities are turning blind eye on the issue and demands that a uniform reasonable price should be made mandatory for these online certificates.
Recently this issue was highlighted in local media that the people from Mormugao who have to do online registration for Residential certificate and other government certificates reportedly have to shell out Rs 800 to 900 in cyber cafes and at typing centres.
