Calangute Thrill-seekers: Female Tourists Raise Eyebrows with Daring Stunts in Open Jeep Joyride

In the vibrant coastal paradise of Goa, where sun-kissed beaches meet the allure of adventure, a rising concern has emerged on the streets of Calangute. Tourists, drawn by the magnetic appeal of Goa’s beauty, are occasionally indulging in reckless behaviour, challenging road safety norms in their pursuit of excitement.

While the State’s winding roads offer a picturesque journey, ensuring road safety remains paramount. Local authorities have been proactive in implementing measures to mitigate road accidents, but the recent trend of reckless behaviour among tourists has sparked concerns.

Rent-a-cars seem to be a popular choice, providing visitors with the freedom to explore at their own pace. However, some tourists are taking this liberty to extreme levels, engaging in dangerous stunts and breaking road safety rules. Recently, a group of female tourists in a rental jeep were seen engaging in dangerous stunts along the Calangute road. Some were standing in the open jeep, while others leaned out of the windows, risking their safety and the safety of those around them. Such actions not only pose a threat to the individuals involved but also jeopardize the reputation of Goa as a safe and welcoming tourist destination.

In response to the growing concerns, local authorities and community leaders are urging tourists to embrace responsible tourism. This call extends to the roads, emphasizing the importance of adhering to traffic rules, respecting speed limits, and prioritizing the safety of oneself and others.
