Concerns have been raised regarding the state of ambulances at Mapusa District Hospital, with activists alleging that four of these crucial vehicles are currently left in a state of disrepair. Moreover, two more hospital ambulances are reportedly parked behind the hospital’s parking zone and have been left idle.
Activists have voiced their apprehensions about this situation, claiming that the condition of these vehicles is in a deteriorated state. Of particular concern is the alleged practice of using 108 ambulances to transport patients from the district hospital to Goa Medical College (GMC), despite having hospital ambulances at their disposal.
These concerns have prompted a call to action and a demand for immediate solutions to address the situation. Ensuring that these ambulances are in operational condition is crucial for the timely and efficient transfer of patients, and activists are advocating for prompt intervention to rectify this issue and enhance healthcare services in the region.
