MARGAO: Declaring himself as a people’s candidate from Fatorda constituency, Camilo Barretto has announced his candidature for the Fatorda seat on Tuesday.
He released his 17-point manifesto for Fatorda, which amongst other things, has promised special housing scheme for the people of the constituency.
Replying to a question, he said that he would take a decision on contesting the polls on a party banner. “For the moment, I have decided to contest the coming polls from Fatorda”, he told newsmen.
Replying to another query, Camilo said he is not satisfied over the development work carried out in Fatorda constituency. “We are from Fatorda and we will unitedly work for the development and progress of the constituency”, he added.
