CANACONA: A free legal literacy camp was recently conducted at St Sebastian School, Loliem-Canacona, on anti ragging laws under the aegis of District Legal Services Authority, Canacona Taluka Services Community.
Canacona PI Harish Madkaikar, St Sebastian School Principal Sr Ida and Adv Joyce D’Souza were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, PI Madkaikar advised the students not to indulge in ragging activities.
D’Souza spoke on anti-ragging laws, the Goa Prohibition of Ragging Act. She also said a declaration by parent/guardian/student has to be signed saying that they will not indulge in ragging.
