MAPUSA: Colvale police on Tuesday arrested one Vijay Pradeep Volvoikar (23) resident of Katurlim Wada of Camurlim for illegally possessing 510 grams of ganja and 15.10 grams of ecstasy powder all worth Rs 2,10,000 approximately.
According to Colvale police, a team led by PSI Pritesh Madgaonkar, head constable Rupesh Korgaonkar, constable Santosh Narvekar, Anish Kumar Poke, Sulesh Naik conducted a narcotic raid during the wee hours of Tuesday near ferry point Camurlim wherein the alleged accused was found in possession of the drugs.
Colvale police have registered an offence under section 20(b) (i) (A) & 22 (C) of NDPS Act. PSI Kunal Naik is further investigating the case.
