MARGAO: Additional Sessions Judge Dvijple Patkar acquitted Ram Baroa a native of Bihar of the charge of murdering 54-year-old Vijaya Pagi on a hillock at Canacona as she was returning home after selling fish. The murder was solved after eight days and Vijaya was raped before being murdered. Ram Baroa in judicial lock up since February 9, 2014 and the case was initially investigated by PI Harish Madkaikar and subsequently by PI Siddhiksha Naik.
