MAPUSA: Ports Minister Michael Lobo inaugurated Canca Circle named after former sarpanch late Milton Marques in the presence of Verla Canca Sarpanch Amita Korgaonkar, Vanessa Marques, Parra Sarpanch Delilah Lobo and others.
Stating that the Canca Junction was accident prone zone, Minister Michael Lobo said, “This was one of the messy junctions where many people have met with accidents, including some fatal ones. People use to also face water logging and required proper guttering. The contractor has taken up good work with proper guttering system and smooth movement of traffic. Credit for this circle is given to former Sarpanch Milton Marques after whom this circle is named”.
