Margao: Goa Forward Party (GFP) has criticised the government circular intending to send teachers and government officials to villages for conducting COVID-19 awareness activities.
GFP said people had avoided public gatherings during Ganesh but the govt now plans to create crowds, which they GFP believes will only lead to an increase inCOVID-19 cases. They demanded that the South District Collector stops all such activities.
“Stop doing experiments on the public, which put Goans in trouble during the pandemic,” said Prashant Naik, spokesperson of GFP, while suggesting the use of electronic communication instead.
