PONDA: As 2022 Assembly elections are approaching politicians from all parties are leaving no stone unturned to reach the House. Besides canvassing in door-to-door campaigning and corner meetings, many of the candidates are seeking divine blessings hoping that the gods will come to their help.
Many of the candidates are visiting Tapobhoomi Kundaim, not only to congratulate Brahameshanand Swami for the Padma Shri award for spiritual and cultural contributions but also to seek his blessings.
Among those who visited Tapobhoomi recently were Ravi Naik of BJP contesting from Ponda for the Assembly elections.
Swamiji also welcomes the politicians and offers them fruits and flowers in the form of blessings. Tapobhoomi Swami has lot of disciples all over Goa and with meeting their guru at Tapobhoomi the politicians not only aim to win his blessings but also to impress and win the heart of his disciples spread across Goa who can vote in elections.
The various politicians who visited for blessings of Brahameshanand Swami include Panjim Independent Candidate Utpal Parrikar, Aldon BJP Candidate Glen Ticlo, AAP Mapusa Candidate Rahul Mahambre, TMC Cumbarjua candidate Samil Volvoikar, MGP Bicholim Candidate Naresh Sawal, Ponda BJP candidate Ravi Naik.
Gomantak Bhandari Samaj President Ashok Naik also visited swamiji to congratulate him after Union Government honoured him with highest civilian award Padma Shri.
