MAPUSA: The Candolim Village Panchayat on Friday extended its partial lockdown in the village till June 6, up to 6 am, due to rising COVID cases
“Entire Candolim village is marked as Containment Red Zone till June 6 with restricted movement from 6 am to 12 noon. Shops engaged in non-essentials services have been asked to remain closed during the period,” stated the notice issued by the panchayat.
“Further, the residents of Candolim, who work outside the village, will be allowed to exit and entry in the village on showing proof of identity card and all private construction activities, shooting for films, serials, advertisements etc., will not be allowed to operate during this partial lockdown,” the notice reads.
