Cansaulim man killed in mishap

MARGAO, AUG 22
 In a tragic accident, a 25-year old motorcyclist Sandeep Gawde from Cansaulim, died on the spot after he came under the wheels of a bus at the Ambaji junction here on Sunday evening.
Investigating officer, PSI Suraj Gawas informed that the deceased was coming to Margao apparently to inquire into the condition of his ailing relative at Hospicio when the accident occurred at the junction.
He said the accident occurred near the divider when the motorcycle landed under the bus proceeding in the same direction.
A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered against the bus driver, PSI Suraj added.
Further investigations are on.
