Car loses control and turtles at Bastora highway; No casualties reported

A self-accident was reported at Bastora highway wherein a high-speeding car lost control and turned turtle on the service. Fortunately, no casualties were reported as all occupants sustained minor injuries. 

On Wednesday morning at around 7 a m, a self-accident was reported at Bastora highway. A high speeding car lost control of the vehicle and crashed on the service road upside down. The Karnataka-registered car belonged to three friends who were inside the car. Driver along with other 3 occupants suspected to be under the influence of alcohol. 

Locals rushed to help the trio get out of the car but were immediately taken aback by their behaviour. The trio began to behave rudely and even assaulted the locals who were trying to help them. An eyewitness who was trying to record the incident claimed that the driver snatched his phone and threw it in the wetlands. 

Witnessing the offensive behaviour of the driver, locals called the police. Police reached the spot in no time and apprehended the driver.
