Car skids, occupants unhurt

Occupants of a Karwar-bound car miraculously escaped unhurt in a mishap barely a kilometre from the Polem check post.
According to sources, the car (KA-26 M-2589) was proceeding towards Karwar when the car suddenly swerved to its right and went down the road.
The car continued to move through the bushes and plants, bringing down an electricity pole and hitting another electricity pole.
The second electricity pole sliced through the car’s bonnet, before the vehicle came to a halt. The occupents miraculously escaped unhurt.
