MARGAO: Chinchinim Primary Health Centre Medical Officer Nixon Martins Fernandes on Thursday clarified that he had granted permission to use recreational facilities in the Carmona school premises which housed the Rural Medical Dispensary on conditions that the school premises would be kept clean and school property wouldn’t be damaged.
The above clarification was given in response to issues raised by the Carmona villagers against no access to the recreational facilities, urging the Prime Minister Office to look into the matter.
Fernandes said that the Carmona Panchayat began using the premises as a play area for children, walking track and other activities.
