MARGAO: Carmona Village Panchayat is observing a public grievance fortnight from January 18 to 31, 2021 in keeping with the resolution adopted last year and people of Carmona are requested to visit the panchayat with any grievance or problem that they have with any government department.
Carmona Sarpanch Allwyn Jorge, who has taken charge of the panchayat after being on leave, said people having problems with water or electricity supply, access and any other problem with any government department can approach the panchayat which will try to resolve the issue.
“We want to help the people and the problem has to be dealt initially with the department. Then we will approach the MLA Churchill Alemao who has promised to help us,” said the Carmona sarpanch.
Besides, he said developmental proposals will be taken up by the panchayat through its funds and through government departments in all the wards of the village with the works carried out on priority basis.
