MAPUSA: Thousands of enthusiastic locals and tourists thronged Mapusa to witness the carnival parade held in the town on Tuesday evening.
The parade, commenced from St Jerome’s Church and culminated near Bodgini, after proceeding through the market area. Mapusa Municipality Chief Officer Clen Madeira flagged off the parade in the presence of Mapusa MLA Joshua D’Souza, Municipal Chairperson Ryan Braganza and other councillors.
