CANACONA: A case is registered at Canacona PS against the proprietor of an event management company for endangering human life.
The complaint is registered as the pandal which the workers of the company were erecting had collapsed on Friday evening.
The investigation officer PSI Prashal Desai said that the complaint stands registered under Section 336 of IPC (endangering life or personal safety of others) against the proprietor of RSO Jagdish Ranka, a temporary resident of Margao.
Ranka was erecting a pandal for exhibition-sale which was to be held this week opposite mamlatdar office at Chaudi in Canacona.
The structure caved in while being erected on Friday evening. Luckily there were no casualties in the incident.
