The hearing in the case pertaining to the award of Life Time Cabinet status to Pratapsing Rane has been adjourned. The respondents have not yet filed their reply. The petition of Adv Aires Rodrigues challenging the cabinet status has been admitted by the High Court. Adv Rodrigues contended that the govt had not taken prior financial sanction from the finance ministry as required under the rules.
