QUEPEM: Curchorem Congress Block Committee President Pushkal Sawant has criticised the Curchorem Cacora Municipal Council councillors for completely failing in their duties to provide a helping hand to those in crises during the COVID pandemic.
Addressing the media persons at the Congress Curchorem Block Committee office, Curchorem, Pushkal said, “Chairperson Vishwas Sawant had spread false rumours about himself. Today, the municipal council needs to play a very important role in this pandemic.”

“The Curchorem Cacora municipality should have an ambulance and a hearse van but the saddest part is they don’t have both. The only survival is the hearse van of local MLA Nilesh Cabral,” he said.
He said that the municipality should be actively involved in the welfare of the people to overcome the pandemic situation rather concentrating on their personal issues, in fights and on inauguration of the new block of municipality building.
